Do you offer pregnancy massage?
Yes, we provide pregnancy massage treatments. We use less pressure when treating a pregnant client and we have found side lying treatments to be the most comfortable for our clients. Please note in your booking notes if you are pregnant.
Can I train after a massage?
It is recommended to rest from training and heavy physical work for 24hours after your massage session.
I have a long distance event coming up, when should I have massage?
When training for long distance events e.g. Marathons, Ironman, Anaconda etc I recommed massage every 2-3 weeks during training. A pre-event massage is best 3-7 days before the event, then a post event massage is best 2-3 days post event. If you have a training programme and you are unsure where it is best to fit massage in, feel free to contact me and I can discuss your individual needs with you.
